Hi my name is Renée and I founded NeuroTeams Align. In this blog post you will find out the who, why, what, when and where.
Who
Let's start with the who. As already indicated above my name is Renée. I am passionate about the power of neurodiversity and the opportunities & challenges it presents our companies with. I've always been fascinated by the brain and how it works. Studying neuropsychology gave me a strong foundation and understanding of the science behind neurodivergence.
I've built a career in recruitment, where diversity has been a hot topic for many years. Recruitment is uniquely positioned to make companies more diverse. In this capacity I built a program to offer talented neurodivergent students to successfully complete internships at ASML. During this journey I discovered something that will surprise no one; I am neurodivergent myself. I have ADHD and I was diagnosed later in life. My diagnosis was like the final piece of the puzzle that is my life. I've always felt different but I attributed it to being a bilingual child in a monolingual world. And later, to being a woman in tech. Or to being the first of my friends to get married and become a mom. But it turns out it's how my brain is wired. My brain is fundamentally wired differently.
Why
Why did I start NeuroTeams Align? Well I love educating my business partners and promoting neurodivergence inclusion. And, I am not one to keep things to myself. I share with abandon. I can no longer keep my insights and knowledge to only one group of leaders. Sharing my expertise with all of you is what drives me. I also want to be able to dedicate more time to staying up to date with the research on neurodivergence, neurodevelopmental disorders and allyship in the workplace, so what I share is always the latest insights.
What
I provide awareness sessions, workshops and trainings on neurodivergence and collaboration in neurodiverse teams. You can also contract me to look at your teams to see what role neurodivergence plays in their collaboration. We will assess the as-is situation and define the desired state. Everything can be tailored to your company's needs of course.
When
I started working as a trainer and facilitator the moment I launched my internships program. Now in 2025 I am ready to spread my wings, flex my muscles further for your business' benefit.
Where
I am based out of Eindhoven and can come to you within The Netherlands and Belgium. I also speak fluent French, Spanish, Dutch and of course English. If you are not located in The Netherlands, just reach out to me to see what we can do. I believe nothing is out of reach, and there are always interesting options available.
